About Me
Specialized therapy for adults with ARFID. Compassionate, expert care rooted in safety, not pressure.
You’ve done your best to make food work for you.
And still, meals feel like a battle.
You know what it feels like to stare at a plate and feel panic instead of hunger. You’ve built your life around safe foods and carefully controlled environments because that’s what it takes to get through the day. And while others might dismiss it as “just picky eating,” you know there’s nothing simple about what you’ve been carrying.
I created Nourisesh to be a space where that burden doesn’t go unseen. A space where you can finally exhale.

I’m a licensed therapist who helps adults with ARFID rebuild their relationship with food, body, and self, gently, respectfully, and without shame.
Through years of working with individuals facing eating challenges, I saw a gap in care for adults with ARFID. So many people were slipping through the cracks, struggling in silence or told their experience wasn’t valid because it didn’t “look” like an eating disorder.
Beyond the therapy room, I’m a bilingual clinician who speaks Italian, and I make space in my life for the things that keep me grounded, like reading, and painting. I believe that healing doesn’t just happen in session. It happens in the everyday moments too.
Let me introduce myself
Grace Annan, LICSW, LCSW-QS

Therapy with me is not clinical and cold. It’s structured but collaborative, with each session designed to make daily life with ARFID feel less overwhelming and more livable.
We’ll identify how ARFID is impacting your daily life, including meals, relationships, and how you feel about yourself. Then we’ll apply targeted, evidence-based strategies to address it directly. We'll follow a step-by-step process designed to create meaningful and lasting change.
I also collaborate with dietitians, psychiatrists, and other medical providers to ensure you receive seamless, wraparound care that addresses every aspect of your health.
What Therapy Looks Like With Me

The Heart Behind Nourisesh
The name Nourisesh is a blend of “nourish” and “sesh” (as in therapy session) because healing should feel grounded and nourishing. That’s how I approach this work: deeply human, research-informed, and centered on your lived experience.
I’m licensed in Florida, New Jersey, Washington D.C., Connecticut, and Delaware and offer virtual therapy exclusively for adults with ARFID. My sessions are thoughtfully designed to support your life and help you move forward with real tools and a clear plan.
